Andrey Aleksandrovich Korytkin, MD, PhD, is a traumatologist and orthopedist with the highest qualification. He graduated from the Military Medical Institute of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation at the Novosibirsk State Medical Academy (specializing in General Medicine). From 2014 to 2019, he headed the Adult and Pediatric Orthopedics Clinic at the Privolzhsky Research Medical University. In October 2019, he was appointed Director of the Tsivyan Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics by the Russian Ministry of Health.
His primary focus is reconstructive surgery, primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty. He has trained and completed internships at leading clinics in Russia, the USA, Belgium, France, Germany, Poland, England, Greece, Switzerland, and Spain. In 2013, he was admitted to the American Orthopedic Association and serves as the Russian representative to the American Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons. In 2018, he was admitted to the European Society of Hip Surgeons. He is the author of over 15 patents for inventions and over 50 scientific publications, including in international medical journals. He is a regular participant in conventions and congresses on traumatology and orthopedics worldwide. He is also the Chairman of the Russian Association for 3D Printing in Medicine.
