Dr. Brian Lau is an associate professor at Duke University and an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in knee, shoulder, and ankle injuries. He serves as the Director of Sports Medicine Research and Associate Program Director for the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder Fellowship. Dr. Lau’s clinical expertise includes complex knee ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration and joint preservation, and shoulder instability surgery. His research focuses on advanced imaging, surgical innovation, and improving outcomes for athletes of all ages. He is a team physician for Duke University and Elon University Athletics
