W Andrew Hodge, MD, MBA, FACS

W. Andrew Hodge, M.D, MBA is an internationally acclaimed orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee and hip surgery and bioengineering research. He holds several U.S. patents on orthopedic implants & surgical techniques in addition to publishing over 60 articles in prominent medical journals. Dr. Hodge has been recognized for his accomplishments on CNN News, the Discovery Channel, and Science Magazine. He was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for Medicine 2009 for his international surgical contributions (This award has been given to six U.S. Presidents as well as multiple Nobel Prize winners).

Currently Dr. Hodge has returned to Florida, now in the Tampa Bay area with Tampa Veterans Administration Hospital, where he will be bringing new treatments and technologies to patients with arthritis as well as failed joint replacement. Dr Hodge is also very active in Advanced Treatments of Prosthetic Joint Infections which can be more efficient in saving morbidity in addition to time and money.
