Herrick Siegel, MD
Rothman Orthopaedic Surgery
Dr. Herrick J. Siegel is a nationally recognized orthopaedic surgeon specializing in musculoskeletal oncology, complex limb reconstruction, and total joint replacement. During more than two decades at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), he served as Section Head of Orthopaedic Oncology and later of Total Joint Surgery, leading multidisciplinary teams dedicated to limb preservation and advanced reconstruction.

Dr. Siegel completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and fellowship training in musculoskeletal oncology and adult reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic. He has authored numerous publications and textbook chapters, lectured nationally and internationally, and trained over a hundred orthopaedic residents and fellows.

In 2026, Dr Siegel will be joining Rothman Orthopaedics and Jefferson Health System in the greater Philadelphia area.
