Prof. Ong Michael Tim Yun is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also holds the position of Chief Censor of The Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons and serves as the Honorary Treasurer of The Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association.

His research interests include anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, enhancing surgical outcomes in joint replacement, and leveraging artificial intelligence for the management of knee osteoarthritis. Prof. Ong is deeply engaged in regenerative medicine, investigating biomaterials and tissue engineering to optimise recovery. His clinical expertise encompasses sports-related injuries, degenerative conditions of the shoulders, knees, and hips, and advanced surgical techniques.
