Reha N. Tandogan is a senior member of Çankaya Orthopaedics, Ankara, Turkey a 15 surgeon private group specializing in joint preserving surgery and arthroplasty and is the past chairman of the Dept. of Orthopedics & Traumatology, Halic University, Istanbul. Çankaya Orthopedics is an ESSKA accredited teaching center and regularly hosts visiting surgeons& international fellows. His main focus is arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee, including multi-ligament injuries, cartilage repair, orthobiologics, osteotomies, primary and revision knee arthroplasty & robotic knee surgery

Dr. Tandogan previously served as Chairman of the European Knee Associates (EKA) section within the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy (ESSKA). He is currently Associate Editor of the Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy (KSSTA) Journal, overseeing the arthroplasty section. He is a member of the Scientific Committee for the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopedics & Traumatology (EFORT), where he is responsible for the knee program.

Dr. Tandogan has a keen interest in orthobiologics and is a founding board member of Regenerative Medicine Orthopedic Society.

He has served as the President of the Turkish Society of Sports Traumatology and is the former president of the Turkish Society of Preventive Hip Surgery. He is a former board member and an active instructor in the Turkish Society of Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy & Knee Surgery.

Dr. Tandogan is the author of 1 English and 10 Turkish books on knee surgery & sports traumatology. He has published 92 scientific articles in international journals and 75 articles in the Turkish literature. Over 3500 international citations have been made to these papers (h-index 32). Dr. Tandogan is very active in teaching and education, he lectures extensively in national and international meetings, regularly organizes cadaver courses and symposia.
