Michell Ruiz, MD, M.Sc.

Michell Ruiz Suárez is a shoulder, elbow and knee Sports Medicine and Reconstruction surgeon trained at UNAM, INR, and through international fellowships in arthroscopy and sports medicine. He has led clinical services, trained generations of surgeons, authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and served as President of the Mexican Shoulder and Elbow Society. His academic work spans biomechanics, arthroscopy, arthroplasty, and effects of regional anesthesia, combined with extensive experience directing research and postgraduate education. Active member of multiple international professional, he continues to contribute as reviewer and associate editor in leading journals. He serves as orthopedic consultant and surgeon for professional Mexican football teams.
